Day 12 Banding owls

Well today we woke up at 6 am and headed to the CTUIR Plant Nursery and met Gail. She works in Plant Nursery We helped her cut some plants and sort them out into a metal grate, it had a bunch of little squares that held the plants up. Gail showed us the way to cut the plants and ways not to cut the plant, but she also told us that if we mess up it did not matter since it "would not be the end of the world" this made me feel a littler better because I felt like I would probably mess something up. When we finished, Gail told us that she would let us have a plant to take. The plant she gave us was a tree that does not really get sold, since it was not advertised enough. I got a plant and named it Aisha, she's tall and has many leaves. I'm so exited to take it home and care for it, I know my mom and dad will enjoy having a tree home since we do not have any at our house. Around 11 am we headed to Nixyaawii Government Agency where we met Andrew Wildbill he did a presentation about his triebes and talked about how the Native people where tricked and lied to when they signed the treaty. Andrew also told us that Gail worked with him and how she is so patient with plants. Andrew than told us that we would go help Lindsey with owl, we would hold owl while she banded them up than look to see if the other owls are still alive or if the where gone. (Gone, Gone.) When we finished with that we headed to shower at a RV park, I noticed that Roman had a soda pop, I got so exited because I have not had a pop since we came to this camp trip, so I headed to the Venting Machine and got three pops, for me, Raquel, and Yoleth. Not to long later we headed back to the camp ground and started dinner, we were all to tired to even play card games or head to the tents so we all sat at the table and just talked to each other.
