Day 13 Last Science Day

Waking up at 7 am felt so nice, I felt like I slept good and was ready for the day. around 8 we started off with gram staining, I only had to do two they where from the from the Crane Prairie samples we did a few days ago, when I finished the red and yellow gram stain I helped Roman with the timer since we did have to meet up with one last person before 9 am. Thomas Tallbull was the man we met today, he gave us a tour  around the Walla Walla Hatchery. Thomas showed us where they kept the fishes and how they made sure the water was good. The thing that helps Thomas make sure the water does not have no bacteria or virus is a machine called Drum Filter. This machine scans the water and search for anything that can hurt the fish. Thomas also told us that the water is so clean that the fished love being there. Thid tour lasted around one hour than we headed back to the camp ground to finish the last gram stains we had so that than we could head to the Nixyaawii Government Agency's conference room to finish of  with identifying possible bacteria.
Thomas is a hatchery manager.
Honesty I wish that I was home threw out this trip, but now looking threw everything we have dome has made me realized that I have learned so much (I did not know nothing about science.) I'm glad that there was some classmates who are majoring in Environmental Science/Studies, there have really helped me through out threw out these two weeks.
For Day 14 WE ARE HEADING HOME the drive will not be long at all, I"M SO EXCITED TO GO HOME! 😀
